President Emmer Group

Lori attended the University of Florida and has been working for the Emmer Group in many different capacities since 1985. She began following in her father’s footsteps in 1992 as the assistant project manager for the single-family construction division. By 1994, she had become the project manager of Capri, a single-family development in Gainesville, and was named vice president of Emmer Development.

Lori was named president of EDC in January 2002. Recent development projects under Lori's presidency have included Capri, Sorrento, Portofino and Capriana among others.

Lori is an active member and past president of the Builders Association of North Central Florida. She is also a member of the Gainesville and Alachua County Association of Realtors, Florida Home Builders Association, National Sales and Marketing Council and National Association of Home Builders. She holds a Florida real estate license, a community associations manager’s license, a building contractor’s license and a mortgage brokers license. She is a member of the Junior League of Gainesville, J.J. Finley Elementary School PTA, Westwood Middle School PTA and the Gainesville High School Quarterback Club.

Lori has been married to her husband, Mark McGriff, for 21 years and they have three boys, Ryan, 19, Nicholas, 16 and Kyle, 14.
