LORI EMMER MCGRIFF
PRESIDENT, emmer group
Lori attended the University of Florida and has been working for Emmer Development in many different capacities since 1985. She began following in her father’s footsteps in 1992 as the assistant project manager for the single-family construction division and by 1994 she’d become the project manager of Capri, a single-family development in Gainesville, and named vice president of Emmer Development.
Lori was named president of Emmer Development in 2002 and throughout her presidency has been responsible for many development projects, including Sorrento, Capri, Portofino and Capriana. The most recent development under Lori is Lugano, a brand new traditional neighborhood development in Southwest Gainesville.
Lori is an active member and former president of the Builders Association of North Central Florida. She is also a member of the Gainesville and Alachua County Association of Realtors and National Sales and Marketing Council. She holds a Florida real estate license, a community association’s manager’s license and a building contractor’s license. She is a member of the Junior League of Gainesville, in addition to serving on the Board of the Alachua County Education Foundation and is a mentor in the Take Stock in Children Program.
Lori has three sons – Ryan, Nicholas and Kyle
