Lead Maintenance Tech (GNV)
Job Description
Summary:
Under the direction of the Regional Maintenance Director, supervise maintenance employees and engages in all aspects related to maintenance and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Train and oversee the work of the other regular Maintenance Techs as assigned
Engage in the work of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, heating and air conditioning, painting, repairs to masonry in the apartments and common areas or furnishings of buildings
Maintain swimming pool including but not limited to chemical treatment, cleaning, filter, etc. and report problem to supervisor
Complete light duty maintenance tasks, including but not limited to caulking, change locks, replace screens, replace door stops, change air conditioning filters, replace light bulbs, etc.
Complete ground maintenance activities, including but not limited to mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, upkeep of common area and pool, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse
General cleaning and up keep of buildings including shops, common areas and offices including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows
Upkeep of pool (when applicable)
Assist other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies
Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
Available for after hour emergency maintenance items as outlined in the Apartment Operations Manual
Follow policies and procedures
Additional duties as needed

CAMT, EPA and CPO Certification if applicable (preferred or demonstrates the ability to obtain at his/her expense within three months of hire)
