Job Description

Summary:

Perform all aspects of property leasing, including but not limited to, lease of property, resident verification, data entry, file completion, answering phones, customer satisfaction and assist in planning resident functions. Perform all tasks in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interview prospective tenants and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
  • Lease 1 in 4 apartments shown targeting 100% occupancy; collect security deposits and all applicable fees; provide rental information.
  • Answer phones, show apartments, take applications, prepare lease packets, complete lease agreements, prepare and file work orders and maintain resident files
  • Accept rent.
  • Inspect condition of premises periodically and report necessary maintenance to Manager.
  • Compile listings of available rental property.
  • Follow up on callbacks in a timely manner.
  • Keep model apartment and workspace clean; light housekeeping of all common areas including but not limited to clubhouse, fitness centers, restroom facilities, pool deck, etc.
  • Maintain familiarity with local competition and new units online, shop all competition, and assist with market survey.
  • Communicate with supervisor and co-workers about concerns or trends with respect to rentals.
  • Complete online Aspire training as required.
  • Stay current on rental rates, information and specials.
  • Follows policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as needed.
  • In person work required

Education/ Experience:

High school diploma and one to three year’s customer service experience preferably in the apartment industry.

Computer Skills:

To perform the job successfully, and individual should have average computer knowledge.
